MY STORY
How did we get here?
Driven by all things cultural and a BIG love of the Arts...
THE EARLY DAYS
My story began in a small leafy South Yorkshire suburb in Sheffield. By day, my childhood was spent exploring National Trust properties & heritage spots and by night I would take to the stage to don many an outfit in Panto' or Shakespeare!
York was my university of choice – the walled City with enticing cobbled streets! After graduating and moving back to Sheffield I soon found my feet in the cultural world of heritage, my first role was at our local Chatsworth House (where I met my husband!) followed by a move to the South East where I landed a more senior Marketing & Design Executive role at Waddesdon Manor.
THE MIDDLE MOMENTS
Whilst at Waddesdon Manor I gained multiple qualifications in Print & Design, studied with the Chartered Institute of Marketing and received my Diploma in Digital Marketing & Strategy.
Within this time we had two gorgeous small folk (talk about juggling!), India & William and then moved back North to the foot of the North York Moors National Park to take root in our wonderful small market town.
The market town and moors are not only home for our family but also the founding spot of Wellies & Wifi Creative.
THE WELLY WALKS
As a family we love going for a good old ‘Welly Walk’ with our pooch whippet Woody, (usually ending in an off the beaten track adventure!) The market town we call home is known for its 200-year-old brass band, the moors are known for wild heather, sweeping dales and picture perfect views - they are all however not known for being wi-fi hotspots!
It was on an off road Welly Walk adventure that the name “Wellies & Wifi” came to fruition!
Today
Wellies & Wifi Creative today has it’s office roots firmly in Yorkshire but supports businesses nationally. You’ll always find my values at the core of everything I do.
